The Aftermath of War: Moscrop Game

A game thought to be a war was just that. The field we played at was the old Steveston High field, that hadn't been maintained in years. The field was nothing but mud and if you were a soldier on the field at that time, playing felt like trench warfare.

2) What made you want to join the rugby squad?
Well I wanted to join last year as well but was in a car crash and injured my knee so I wasn't able to. I want to play because I like rugby and used to play when I was younger and quite enjoyed it

Senior Rugby Intersquad Match

On Thursday February 24, 2011 the team had its first exhibition game... against itself! It was an inter squad matchup from which the starting positions would be decided upon. The coaches were also hoping to get the players, especially the new recruits, some much needed in-game experience.

It has been a grueling month of off season training with all the newcomers to the sport coming on to the team. We have at least 30-40 very talented members raring to go to play the game of rugby. Our coaches Axel (Alex), the backs coach, and Stokes (Ryan), the coach of the forwards, have been working hard in order to get us ready for this season and hopefully making it far into the post season to make a real run at the championships.
